The Baddie behind the scene...

My name is Jorden. I have ADHD, I'm an Aries (yes I believe in it...especially when it fits so well lol), I'm a weirdo who likes to have fun, and my purpose in life is to find the beauty in the simple.

I created Baddie Style because I had never felt like I belonged anywhere. Never felt like clothes fit me right. Never could find anything I actually liked. I didn't fit into this mould created for women—this pretty, skin-tight, see-through, skin-showing line of clothing. Don't get me wrong, I know there are other options out there, but I never really felt like I liked what they stood for either.

So began the era of stealing my partner's shirts—which sometimes sucked because when I was single, I didn't have any to steal! I loved that men's clothes always fit me better and were always so much softer for some reason???? I unfortunately have broad shoulders, so women's clothes would never fit my shoulders but be fine everywhere else. I'd have to get sizes way bigger, but then they just never sat or looked right.

Enter the very, very insecure woman who never looked like everyone else. I was always way underdressed. I always felt like the ugly duckling of all my friends. I would wear things I was uncomfortable in just to fit in and seem 'sexy' or 'hot.' I hated myself. I never felt like I was being me.

Then I finally had the hard reality of being alone, by myself, and understanding who I was as a person. My whole life flipped. I started to realize that there was nothing wrong with who I was. There was nothing wrong with being a weirdo or wearing baggy clothes to a nightclub.

Thus came the idea of Baddie Style. It's not just another clothing brand—it's a brand about being comfortable in your own skin. About wearing that baggy, soft, oversized tee out and still feeling like you are fine as f***.

We're a brand that represents self-love and inclusiveness. We're for all those women and men who felt like they never belonged. For the people who just love being in comfy clothes and hate the idea of having to wear something uncomfortable just to go out.

Because you shouldn't have to choose between comfort and confidence. You shouldn't have to sacrifice who you are to fit in.
